The object of this project is to promote the Reggio Emilia concept of “Learning through the Environment” with flexible furnishings that can be deployed to suit individual teacher’s instructional strategies and provide the necessary functional “infrastructure” of the class room. Furnishings should also engage children’s learning needs while providing a dynamic spatial environment consistent with the deCordova campus.
